Amazon Seller Feedback, #1: Don't Mock Your Customers

Source: Amazon Seller Feedback

Vendor: E-COMMERCE WORLD

Amazon.com, as many people know, host a number of third-party vendors and storefronts on their site, similar to eBay. That means that a product such as a cellphone or a hard drive can be sold not just from Amazon.com itself but also through a variety of vendors vying for your attention. Most of them are good. A few are not.

E-COMMERCE WORLD has an average customer feedback of 90% positive/9% negative throughout its lifetime of operation. In the past 30 days, that number has slipped to 73% positive/27% negative. Most vendors when faced with this level of slippage aim to improve their customer service. E-COMMERCE WORLD takes a rather different approach.

"everyone knows that ... everyone but you...smart ...lol"

"purchaser declaring the false ..."

Most of the negative reviews prior to April 2019 do not have responses by the vendor, although one makes a comment about "snarky customer service", indicating that this might have been an ongoing issue.

Nevertheless, it might be a good idea for the vendor to give its staff a bit of training in handling unhappy customers - even if they appear uninformed. "Don't mock your clients" shouldn't have to be in every business school 101 course.
